Thanks to the excellent cooperation between the Gathering Festival (at Gathering Place Community Centre) and the Wheelchair Dance Sport Association with the participation and assistance in making the workshops happen.

     

     In the second year of workshops, we found a significant increase of participants. Every time the community witnesses Wheelchair Dance performances, there is an outpour of support and awe.

    

     The workshops are meant for both wheelchair users and able-bodies to dance together in a beautiful, captivating, and accessible art form.

     

     Not only were the workshops physically beneficial for the dancers, but it also engaged community and created strong bonds between the Participants.
